COMPANY PROFILE

LegalFund was formed to pursue litigation funding in Australia, on a national basis, and to acquire the Sydney-based law firm DC Legal and its existing litigation matters, initiated by its predecessor Dennis & Co Solicitors. LegalFund will operate primarily as a litigation funding business and will provide direct legal services through its own separate law firm.

LegalFund Australia will provide legal funding to litigants which will entitle the Company to a share of any award or settlements or value of any property recovered from the funded proceedings. LegalFund Australia is not a legal practice and is not subject to Section 325(1)(b) of the Legal Professions Act of New South Wales.

LegalFund and LegalFund Australia may engage DC Legal to provide legal services to them or to provide assistance in assessing the merits of any proposal for funding litigation.

Strategy
• Initially focus its litigation funding activities on the funding of liquidators actions
• Carry out litigation funding throughout Australia and over time seek primarily larger litigation matters and Class Action
matters for funding
• Pursue smaller ‘bread and butter’ sized matters under $2m to provide a steady cashflow of returns
• Carry out due diligence and select only the best and most appropriate matters for funding

• Investment in litigation and related legal matters actioned by insolvency, accounting and legal firms.
